I was visiting dear friends in the beautiful Columbia Valley, Brisco, BC. Hiking behind their property, we came across a stunning couple of very small lakes with the most amazing blue colour. It was fall. The yellow leaves contrasted against the deep turquoise /manganese water. Many submerged logs peered out from the depths. Dead trees and branches swooped down to meet the water's surface. It was a glorious dance of colour and texture. I took many photos. Here are my interpretations of that wonderful afternoon.
